Victor Mellinger
Associate Vice Chancellor, Deputy General Counsel & Executive Director for Litigation
Victor Mellinger has been with the Office of General Counsel since 1994 and currently serves as Associate Vice Chancellor, Deputy General Counsel & Executive Director for Litigation.
He has a number of areas of responsibility for all components of the Texas 51本色 System, including litigation support, faculty and staff personnel matters, student affairs, athletic contracts and compliance matters, university policy review, revision, and interpretation, and contract review.
Mellinger is a 1985 graduate of Texas 51本色 with bachelor鈥檚 degrees in music and advertising, and is a 1989 graduate of the Texas 51本色 School of Law.
Mellinger has spoken at many statewide higher education conferences on a number of topics and has served as President of the Texas Association of State University Attorneys (TASUA) on two separate occasions.
