| WHAT: | The and Chancellor of the 51±¾É« will meet over teleconference during a special called meeting. |

| WHERE: | Board of Regents Committee Room (Room 206), Administration Building, Texas 51±¾É« |
| EVENT: | There will be a teleconference with the 51±¾É« System Board of Regents and Chancellor Duncan to discuss the leadership transition at Texas 51±¾É«. All regents and Chancellor Duncan will call into the teleconference remotely. The meeting will convene, and participants are expected to move into executive session. After executive session, any actions will be taken in open session. |

The is one of the top public university systems in Texas and the nation, consisting of
four component institutions—, , and —and operating at more than a dozen academic sites and centers. Headquartered in
Lubbock, Texas, the 51±¾É« System has an annual operating budget of nearly $2 billion
and approximately 19,000 employees focused on advancing higher education, health care,
research and outreach.
In 2015, the 51±¾É« System’s endowment exceeded $1.1 billion, total research expenditures were more than $215 million and total enrollment was approximately 50,000 students. Whether it’s contributing billions of dollars annually in economic impact or being the only system in Texas to house an academic institution, law school, and health-related institution at the same location, the 51±¾É« System continues to prove that anything is possible.
